1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using LaPioche ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

LaPioche is operated by LaPioche SA, a company registered in Switzerland. These terms govern your use of our platform and services.

2. Description of Service

LaPioche is a collaborative sharing platform that enables users to:

• Share, lend, and borrow items with other members
• Create and join sharing circles within their communities
• Manage an inventory of shareable items
• Communicate with other members regarding item sharing

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Users under 18 may use the Service only with parental or guardian supervision.

4. User Conduct

When using LaPioche, you agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Share illegal or prohibited items
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Use the Service for commercial purposes without authorization
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others

5. Item Sharing

When sharing items through LaPioche:

• You must own or have authorization to share the items you list
• Item descriptions must be accurate and complete
• You are responsible for the condition of items you lend
• Borrowers must return items in the condition received
• Any fees or deposits should be agreed upon before sharing

LaPioche is not responsible for disputes between users regarding item condition, returns, or payments. We encourage users to communicate clearly and document item conditions.

6. Circles

Circles are community groups within LaPioche. Circle administrators are responsible for:

• Managing circle membership and access
• Enforcing circle-specific rules and guidelines
• Moderating content within their circles

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by LaPioche SA and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service, but grant LaPioche a license to use, display, and distribute such content as necessary to provide the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LaPioche SA shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss or damage to items shared through the platform
• Disputes between users
• Service interruptions or data loss

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Canton of Geneva, Switzerland.
